About the position
Responsibilities
• Oversee the technical training programs for the Boston University community.
• Lead the development, coordination, delivery, and assessment of IT-related training.
• Identify training needs in collaboration with partners and source necessary training resources.
• Manage the design, development, and delivery of asynchronous, synchronous, online, and in-person training.
• Oversee course schedules, room reservations, and training announcements.
• Serve as the system administrator for the eLearning (SumTotal) and tutorial registration systems.
• Collaborate with other groups in IS&T and across campus to maintain and improve training facilities.
• Report on training activity and efficiency over time.
• Seek out ways to continually improve training offerings.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• More than 8 years of experience in technical training or related field.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with eLearning design and development.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
