You will lead the work to understand business needs, research industry technology trends, and gather service requirements to drive the business value of the Technology & Digital portfolio.
You will also support the project portfolio plan through major financial deliverables such as Annual Capital Planning, Annual Operating Planning, the Long-Range Plan, and other ad-hoc requests. This is a highly collaborative role where partnership with many technical and non-technical teams is important.
What You Will Do
- Lead and mentor a team of business analysts and portfolio managers.
- Manage capital project initiation, including scope definition, solution design and estimation, and funding approval for projects ranging $1.0M – $15M+
- Drive strategy, planning and prioritization for DSE businesses and support key financial delivery of Long-Term Plan, Annual Capital Plan, Annual Operating Plan, and monthly Forecasts.
- Lead the development of business cases for major capital and expense projects, in particular ensuring benefits align to strategic and tactical business objectives.
- Lead business requirements into a clear, managed, prioritized backlog or business requirements document.
- Support business, technical, and financial feasibility assessments during both planning and execution stages of project.
- Assist Project Management leadership in identifying and handling risks, issues and dependencies.
- Review contracts drawn up with any third-party suppliers to ensure they accurately reflect the needs of the business.
- Own the integration of the technology portfolio with key business partners on an ongoing basis, including the preparation of senior executive-level presentations.
- Foster a growth culture focused on continuous learning and adaptation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in portfolio & product management, product/project delivery, demand management, capacity planning or financial analysis leading to successful management of a $100M+ portfolio
- Practical experience in understanding technology project / product financial analysis, financial reporting, and cause-of-change explanations across multiple teams.
- Exposure to technical project management: estimation, project planning, resource planning, issue management, risk management, change management, and communication planning.
- Excellent business communication, writing, and social skills with all levels of leadership.
- Ability to drive forecasts and to effectively communicate risks and dependencies to executives and business partners.
- Mentoring and coaching abilities to ensure effective growth, development of team, matching skills to roles for individual success.
- Demonstrable skills in PPT/Keynote and Excel.
- Experience with industry standard PPM tools.

- Experience with Clarity PPM
- Experience with software delivery preferred including full software lifecycle (development, maintenance, deprecation)

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or relevant experience
