Title: Business Analyst (Remote) (Part-Time)

Description

Our client is currently migrating its applications from a legacy mainframe platform to a modernized Microsoft platform. At this stage, we are looking to implement the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) solution to reduce the number of platforms that must be supported. The business analyst role is critical to the success of migrating to the new platform. Users must have confidence that their requirements are being heard and that the new system will incorporate all of their required business practices. The BA will work with the users to identify what needs to be accomplished and then will work with the developers and technical architects to define the best way to implement technology so those needs are met.

Experience And Skillset
• 5 years of experience in the ability to immerse oneself into the business area so that you can evaluate their processes and procedures and find areas for improvement with enhanced technology.
• 5 Years of experience in the ability to document clearly through user stories and other documentation the as-is and to-be states such that management, users and developers can understand and envision the proposed state.
• 3 years of experience in documenting user stories and managing progress using Azure DevOps.
• 3 Years of experience in developing and executing test plans to ensure a functional application is delivered.
• 5 Years of experience in the ability to establish a rapport with stakeholders such that trust and confidence are built.
• 3 years of experience with giving presentations to groups up to 20 people.
• 5 years of experience with analyzing and improving Pension Systems.

Desired Skills
• 3 Years of experience with Agile or other iterative development methodologies.
